History

Barbato Flowers & Greenhouse, Inc., is a small family, locally owned business located in Stark County, Ohio. This third generation greenhouse and full service flower shop, has served the Canton/Massillon area since 1925.

Barbato's prides itself on offering a quality grown selection of seasonal plants. The one acre greenhouse and floral shop operation is open to the public all year.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.*

We are closed on Sundays.*

*Extended hours for the spring season begin May 1st through Father's Day. Hours in May are: Monday through Friday, 9am - 7pm, Saturday, 9am - 6pm, and Sunday, 11am - 4pm.

 To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order up until the day of the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day,Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Barbato Flowers is the only greenhouse/ garden center in Stark County that grows everything on site for retail sales throughout the year. Since 1925, Barbato's has grown a wide variety of blooming plants for every season and occasion. From Christmas poinsettias- the perfect gift for friends and family- to a large selection of hard to find annuals, vegetables and perennials for spring gardening- to hardy mums for fall color.

Our shop serves the following areas in Ohio:

Canton, Massillon and North Canton

We also service the following areas:

Canal Fulton, East Canton, East Sparta, Hartville, Louisville, Magnolia, Navarre, Uniontown and Waynesburg.

A local delivery fee of $8.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area or in our also serviced areas, delivery fees may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays.* Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day. (*Exception: Funeral arrangements are delivered on Sundays.)

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction.
